- Nomads Give Back will receive and manage the funds for this project. A total of $300 will be allocated to support the father and daughter. Nomads Give Back will coordinate directly with the family to determine the most appropriate use of the funds based on their current needs. Depending on what is agreed with the family, the support may be provided through direct purchases, payment of specific expenses, financial support, or a combination of these. Any amount spent or transferred will be documented as part of the project follow-up.
Around the end of May 2026, a local father and his daughter were regularly visiting a shop in Santa Teresa.
They were living in a tent at the time and needed immediate practical support. Their backpack had broken, and community members were asked whether they could contribute a replacement backpack, food, supplies or financial assistance.
The response from the Nomads Community was immediate.
Within a few minutes, more than 15 contributions were made to support the family’s immediate needs and help establish the Nomads Give Back general fund.
Why we chose it
The father and daughter were reported to be living in a tent and lacking some basic necessities.
The situation represented an immediate and practical local need where community contributions could provide direct support.
