Join us for a 1.5-hour beach cleanup in Santa Teresa, organized in collaboration with NP Waterkeeper, a local initiative working on beach cleanup and waste management every day.
The goal is not only to collect waste, but to learn the right techniques so the cleanup is useful, properly sorted, and handled effectively afterward.
How the session will work:
1. Gathering & introduction
Meet the group and get a short introduction from NP Waterkeeper on local waste issues and beach cleanup best practices.
2. Beach cleanup
Clean the beach together using the recommended collection and sorting methods.
3. Waste sorting
Separate recyclables, glass, and non-recyclable waste correctly.
4. Waste drop-off
Bring the collected waste to the appropriate collection points.
5. Refresh at Eat Street
We’ll finish at Eat Street, who are supporting the cleanup by providing access to a shower and fresh fruit for participants.
Total duration: approximately 1h30.
Equipment will be provided, so you just need to show up ready to participate.
Come ready to participate, learn, and help keep the beach cleaner through practices that can be reused beyond this session.
